It’s been a few years since you no longer needed a more or less powerful console or computer to play various games at home. Thanks to the power our smartphones have today, we can have hundreds of games and emulators of old consoles on our phones. And there are also controls (gamepads) that help us have better playability.
It used to be a cell phone, a telephone, now the thing doesn’t even look like what it was. Smartphones are capable of doing things that were unimaginable. There are hundreds of models on AliExpress, but these are the best gamepads you can find at very affordable prices.
iPega PG-9025
This model is an order understood in the most traditional way. With two horns for the handle, buttons similar to those on the Xbox One controller, and R2 and L2 triggers on the back, which is quite ergonomic.
It connects to the phone via bluetooth. If this doesn’t seem like much to you, it contains a receiver so that you can use it with the 2.4 gigahertz radio frequency. What does that mean? Well, you have less lag than if it is connected via bluetooth which it is also compatible with to be able to use it on cellphones. Its weight is 191 grams.
Terios T3
Here we introduce the cheapest model on the list, yes, that’s exactly why it greatly reduces the features it offers us. We can find it in some offers for 10 $ and even less, but you have to make sure that it includes the clip for hanging the phone. In this case, not all you can find on AliExpress include it, sometimes it is charged separately (it doesn’t reach 2 $).
Incidentally, it has a lot of autonomy (500 mAh) and is only compatible with Android (versions higher than 2.3). The design of the controller is quite ergonomic, with two joysticks, the four L and R buttons on the top of the controller. Pretty easy to use design.
FlyDiGi Wee
To change the controller style, let’s go to the FlyDiGi Wee, a controller that simulates compact consoles like the PsP or Nintendo. The cellphone, instead of going over the command, would be placed within the command itself. In fact, the controls are pretty similar to those on these models, two joysticks on the sides and an arrow movement control.
It is compatible with Android and IOS and has a range of 300 mAh. In features, it is very similar to the first one we showed you, but with a different design. It depends on which style of gamepad you like the most. You can also connect to a 2.4GHz nano receiver, which will greatly improve the connection speed.

Last but not the worst, we present this Pxn Remote that hands down the most of the features in this small list. It’s also a clip-on controller with a design very similar to the Xbox One, the controller has two joysticks, a D-pad, the X / Y / A / B action buttons, and the L1 / L2 / R1 / Man trigger R2. Works great for playing games and navigating menus.
It is compatible with iOS, Android and Windows (also playable on the computer). The battery is 550 mAh, which allows more than 30 hours of playtime. Includes vibration on the controller to make it even more realistic.
