Sometimes Errors occur when making a Payment on AliExpress that prevent us from completing the purchase. The platform itself explains the meaning of each error on this page, but we’ve prepared the full list for you so you can easily find the source of the problem.

Error CSC_7200026
This message is usually accompanied by the message “This transaction has been marked for security reasons” or “We were unable to process this payment for security reasons“. This means that AliExpress will ask you to verify the card. You can do this through AliPay from this link. Verification usually takes one to three days, so you can still use another payment method.
This message can also appear if your card is blocked for violating the AliExpress Terms of Use (for example: opening many false disputes, using vouchers that were not intended for you, opening multiple accounts to receive vouchers…).
Error CSC_7200021
Your credit card CVV (the three security numbers on the back of your card) is incorrect. Also, many users believe that they saw this message when the card has not been used for a long time.
Error CSC_7200011
Your card or bank account does not have enough funds to manage the payment, as indicated by the “Insufficient Funds” message. This can happen when we use a debit or virtual card and our bank converts dollars into your local currency. It can also appear if your card has a dollar purchase limit per day.
Error CSC_7200015
As indicated by the message attached to the error, “The transaction has been declined by the card issuer” or “This payment has been declined by your card issuer”, the payment has been declined by your bank or payment institution.
You may not have the option to pay for purchases online or in US dollars. Contact your bank to activate the option to buy online and abroad, or try a different payment method.
Error CSC_7200022
Currency or card not compatible with payments on AliExpress. Try changing the currency in the top right corner of the page, select United States Dollars (USD), and use an international credit card or a credit card that can pay in dollars.
Sometimes it is accompanied by the message “The system is currently having technical difficulties”, “We cannot process this payment” or “We could not process this payment” in Spanish. In this case, it is best to try again later.
Error CSC_72000051
As with the previous one, the currency or card is not compatible with the payment on AliExpress. An alternative is to call the bank to ask them to do VISA verification. They will ask us a few questions and within hours we will be able to do our shopping.
Error CSC_7200001
Your card is incompatible with the payment or the currency you are paying in is not supported in the AliExpress payment system. Check the two points above or contact your bank to make sure your card is active and working properly.
Error CSC_7200034
There is a lack of information to manage the payment of your order. Check the delivery address (name, address, phone), check AliPay account, or check the information on your card.
Error CSC_7200012
The expiration date of your card is incorrect or the card has expired. Check the information before paying again. It is easy to make a mistake entering this data. Therefore, when paying, make sure that all the data match.
Error CSC_7200020
The site has determined that there is some incorrect card information, as indicated in the message that accompanies the error: “Your credit/debit card information is incorrect“. You must check that the data you provided when ordering is correct: name, numbering, expiry date, CVV, etc. Although it can sometimes happen if there is a connection failure, we recommend that you try a second time.
Error CSC_7200040
Restricted card payment denied is accompanied by the message “Your bank has blocked the payment“. Contact your bank to inquire about an error with your card or try a different payment method. Some banks block the card for security reasons if they see many purchases in a row on the same page to prevent it from being stolen or lost.
Error CSC_72000006
Your card is using a payment currency that is incompatible with AliExpress. It must be paid in USD dollars and the bank will handle the currency exchange itself. Once in the mobile application, go to your account to configure the currency and from your computer you can change it here in the top right corner of the page.
Error CSC_72000009
Your card has exceeded the available monthly limit and will not allow you to make any further payments, as indicated by the message “You have reached the spending limit on your card or account“. Talk to your bank to manage the reload of funds or use another payment method.
Error CSC_7200053
When paying with an AliExpress Coupon you may get this error message if the purchase is in violation of any of the terms of the coupon saying “Please re-place the order or remove the coupon and try again”. Delete the coupon, validate the card information on AliPay or use another payment method.
Error CSC_7200017
This error occurs on purchases from Brazil when the CPF is invalid. This is indicated by the message “The CPF number you specified is not valid”. The best thing to do is to contact your bank so they can review the information on your card to see if this is enabled and working.
Error CSC_7200029
As the platform shows, this message may appear due to a system error. The best thing to do is to try to pay again in a few minutes or to switch platforms (from computer to mobile application and vice versa).
How to fix payment errors
These messages usually appear because of a problem with your card, either the configuration of your bank, a lack of funds, or an error in the information provided when making the payment. However, these errors often occur for no apparent reason. To troubleshoot your payment errors on AliExpress, follow these steps:
Pay with the AliExpress app
Sometimes these errors appear because of the AliExpress system itself. So if you’re trying to buy from your computer, try paying for your cart through the mobile app (or vice versa).
Change your browser (or use incognito mode)
Sometimes cookies and other browser settings can block payment. For this reason, we recommend changing your browser or using incognito mode, logging into AliExpress and trying to check out again.
Deactivate security extensions
If you have browser extensions to block pop-ups, try disabling them when you check out. The payment process can use third-party scripts and can be blocked by these extensions or antivirus.
Change currency
The AliExpress platform works in US dollars (USD). If you’ve chosen a different local currency, try switching to dollars. This can avoid some payment errors.
Delete saved cards
If you’ve saved your credit card in the AliExpress system and you encounter a payment error, delete the card and re-enter the information.
Use other payment methods
AliExpress also accepts other payment methods such as Paypal or Webmoney. If the problems are usually related to your bank, there are also virtual cards which are much more willing to buy from online stores, some don’t even require an associated bank account.
Wait a couple of hours to pay again
Sometimes the error can stem from a problem on the AliExpress servers, so many users confirm that after waiting a few hours and paying again, they were able to process their purchase without any problems.
