PROBLEM Parcel is Still on its Way on AliExpress

Sometimes you will receive the message in the status of your order: “The package is still on its way, don’t worry, we will deliver it to you as soon as possible“. We will now explain to you what that means and what you can do. And remember, you can go to this section of AliExpress to see the updated status of your order.

Package is still on the way, don’t worry, we will deliver it to you as soon as possible

This message basically means that you don’t have to worry that your shipment will proceed as normal and be delivered as soon as possible.

Why didn’t I get this message sooner and now?

All orders have an estimated home arrival date, depending on the shipping method you choose. This date is indicative and does not mean that it will arrive within this period. You can see it in the upper part of the shipment tracking.

When this estimated deadline has passed, AliExpress automatically generates the message “Package is still on the way …” at the end of the estimated delivery date. As a result, there isn’t a major incident, but for some reason the arrival process of your package is slower than expected, although it usually arrives at home in a short amount of time.

Track your order in detail

Whether your order will arrive on the expected delivery date depends on many factors that are unfortunately not left to you. In our experience, this is more likely to happen to you with normal shipments without a tracking number, as they are cheaper, cover longer distances and are more likely to struggle with delays.

If you find that the status of your order has not been updated in a while, you can check the tracking on international tracking websites like the one we mentioned on the AliExpress mail for order tracking. Remember that normal shipments in the destination country will not have tracking information. So once they leave China, you will no longer be able to keep track of exactly where they are going.

Check the duration of protection of your order

All orders have a 75 day protection period and that’s the only thing to worry about if you haven’t received your package. If your expected delivery date has passed but you still have a long term of protection, don’t worry if you haven’t received your package yet. If you try to open a dispute too early, AliExpress will not allow you to do so, claiming that its records show that the package is still in transit and you are waiting for the protection period to expire.

When should you open an argument?

On the other hand, if there are only a few days left to the end and you haven’t received your package, we encourage you to open a dispute and request a full refund. Before opening it, it is wise to ask the seller about your package (if only in pure form) as AliExpress takes into account that you speak to them before opening it. Then open a dispute and include a tracking screenshot of your order as evidence to prove you did not receive it.

We recommend reading the article on how to open a dispute on AliExpress. It is also possible for the seller to extend the term of protection once it has expired in order to try not to lose the money on the sale. You need to know that AliExpress shipments have improved a lot lately and that they usually aren’t that much of a delay in AliExpress.
