The wishlist is a must if you enjoy shopping on AliExpress. Their purpose is to save our favorite products so that we can have them at hand when we decide to buy. Today we explain how it works and how to make the most of it.
Wishlist – this is how it works
Getting into the Wish List is very easy. While browsing AliExpress, we can add the products we liked from the ad itself. When we surf the web from our computer, we look for the button «Add to wish list». Once you’ve created folders, you can choose which folder to save them in.
When you search AliExpress from the mobile application, all you have to do is search for the heart we show you in the image below and the product will be automatically added to your wish list. In this case you will not be able to select the destination folder, it will be saved in the standard list. If we are interested in separating the products by lists and you can only use the mobile app, you can move the products from the general list to the folder you want. We’ll explain how to do it later.
Create folder in Wish List
AliExpress has long offered you the option of creating different folders within the wish list. It’s a great way to organize our favorite products and have quicker access to them.
Additionally, these folders can be private so only you can see them, or you can make them public so you can share them with everyone and other people can see the products you have found.
To create a new folder in your wish list, all you have to do is go to the wish list from your computer and click on “+ Create wish list“. We get a tab in which we enter the name of the folder and whether it should be public or private.
Once in the mobile app, all we have to do is go to the wishlist, go up and access the “My Lists” tab. We see a red icon with the “+” symbol. When clicking we are asked for the name of the new list and whether it should be public or private.
Move or remove products from the list
As mentioned earlier, on the computer we can choose the destination folder, but the app will save it in the list by default. In either case, products can be easily moved from one list to another. All you have to do is access the wishlist and go to the product you want to move and look on the right side of the product where you will find the option to move the products to another list or remove them from the wishlist.
From the mobile app, the operation is similar, we go to the product and click on the 3 points that we show you. A menu will appear that will allow us to delete the product or move it to another folder on our wish list.
Alert Settings
Another benefit of the Wish List is the ability to receive notifications when our products have fallen in price. When you create our account on AliExpress, by default you will receive emails with notifications when the price of your favorite products has gone down.
We can configure these notifications from the computer. To do this, go to your wish list and click on the «Notification Settings» button. You can choose to receive emails every day, every 3 days or not.
To see the reduced products we have to go to our wish list, go to the bottom of the wish list and click where it says “items that have been reduced“. From the mobile app we need to go to the wishlist and access the “Discounted Products” tab.
From our own experience, we of course warn you that these hints can be very impractical, as many sellers take the opportunity to increase prices and then offer a discount in order to be included in these lists.
